What a Day for a Parade
It has been a long tradition of Jake's preschool to participate in the Lilac Day Parade. Adam and his parents did this when Adam attended the same preschool in the 80s. The parents and kids decorate wagons to fit the theme of the parade. This years theme was "Everyday Heroes" and of course Jake wanted to make a fire engine. In the spirit of Lombard (and Daddy's work) Adam decorated the wagon to look just like a local engine.
I am very lucky I married someone handy or the wagon would have just had pictures of fire engine taped to it.
Waiting for the parade to start.
Jake and his teacher. He just loves her. He will have her again next year and I have asked her not to retire until she has Abbie Girl.
Hanging out with his teacher.
